After spending the last three months exploring Peru, it's finally time to say goodbye. We returned to San Miguel, the very first place we stayed, to reflect on everything we loved and hated about living here. We compare our totally different experiences living in the authentic streets of San Miguel versus the upscale area of Miraflores. We also talk about our absolute favorite local foods, from anticuchos to pollo a la brasa, and the amazing family-run restaurants we discovered through TikTok. Finally, we keep it real and share some of the frustrating things we dealt with, including loud traffic, slow customer service, and our nightmare apartment landlord.
