We left Lima and took a "4 hour" bus (it was 6+) up into the Andes to Churín, a small hot spring town most tourists never visit 🇵🇪 We stayed in a completely empty hotel, ate river trout and patasca, met a Tibetan mastiff, tried linaza, ate guinea pig soup and finally soaked in the geothermal hot springs. Is Churín worth the trip? Our honest verdict is at the end.
