I Visited China's City of the Future. It's Real.

From the video description

45 years ago this was a fishing village of 30,000 people. Today it's a city of 18 million that makes most of the world's electronics — and after walking it for days, I think it might be the closest thing on Earth to the future. This is Shenzhen: the world's biggest electronics market, palm-payment supermarkets, drone deliveries, $60 hotels with robot room service — and the parts nobody puts in the highlight reel.
