We started the night by drinking way too much before heading to the biggest Latino party in Japan – Yonaguni! 🇯🇵🔥
The nightlife in shibuya was wild, with amazing energy and some great reggaeton, though there was a bit too much “old school” music imo.
Things took a crazy turn when an immigrant started following us around after the event demanding we hand over our phones. 😳 Sadly, this isn’t an isolated case. Japan has been seeing a rise in certain immigrant related problems, especially in busy nightlife areas like Shibuya, where some groups get involved in scams or aggressive behavior. While Japan is still very safe overall, this was a reminder to always stay alert, especially late at night.
This was hands down one of the most chaotic but unforgettable nights we’ve had in Japan!
