I spent part of my childhood in Guiyang — my mum's hometown — and walking these streets again after 10 years away was a weird, nostalgic, really good kind of feeling. Some things I remembered instantly. Other things had completely changed. And some corners of the city looked exactly like they did in my head.
This is just a casual walk around the city — no agenda, no itinerary. Just me wandering around, taking it all in, and sharing whatever memories come up along the way.
Guiyang is the capital of Guizhou Province and honestly one of the most slept-on cities in China. It's not Beijing. It's not Shanghai. It's greener, quieter, way more relaxed — and if you ask me, way more interesting.
