24 hours in Chongqing. Three things on the list. Zero regrets.
We packed a lot into one day and honestly every single stop delivered — from the most unexpected café experience to views that made my jaw drop, to ending the night exactly how Chongqing deserves to be ended.
Here's what we got up to:
☕ 1. Capybara Café
Yeah you read that right. There's a café in Chongqing where you just... hang out with capybaras. Genuinely one of the most chaotic and wholesome things I've done travelling. If you're an animal person this is a non-negotiable.
🏙️ 2. Up the Skyscraper
The views from up here are absolutely insane — Chongqing is one of those cities that you need to see from above to really understand the scale of it. Plus there are activities up top that make it way more than just a lookout. Worth every bit of the trip up.
🎉 3. Nightlife on 9th Street
This is where Chongqing comes alive at night. 9th Street is basically one long strip of clubs and bars and energy — and the crowd here knows how to have a good time. Brilliant way to end the day.
